I'm looking for a software for my iPhone which comes with a Desktop Application or at least sync with a WEB Page. The software also must offer a way to export the information to a known format, like DOC or XLS.....

For instance, if I change my iPhone in the future to a Blackberry or other brand, what will happen with all my information??

Yeah a desktop Application would be awesome. I purchased Momento and love it, I used it every day - then my iphone crashed and it has to get sent away to be repaired - up to 6wks! I have no way to continue use of the app.

Lots of people work at a computer all day using programs that they then want to be able to use/edit when they are not at their computer...hence iphone apps which sync to a desktop or online app work really well!

I agree! A desktop version of Momento would be excellent and will also be a way to sync with my Mac desktop (or Windows) and iPhone.

I would buy inmediatly if it could sync with desktop. Now i am hesitating. Will there be a sync feature in the near future?

App looks awesome. But no desktop/web application to sync is a show stopper for me. Count me as a +1 to purchase this app if that's in the future.

Really interested in this app. Looks like a great interface with intuitive quickly accessible functions, however not being able to sync is a deal breaker for me. I use Momo right now cause I can add notes from any computer and from the ipod and sync them immediately. I would purchase right away and switch over once you introduce a sync function.

I have been using Evernote which has an application for Desktop and one for the iPhone. It works great as a journal mainly because it is possible to enter an event with a past date. If you remember something that happened somewhere in the past, no problem. You can register the event today typing a past date.
Besides it, you can register practically everything.

I also use evernote, but almost exclusively for work stuff where I
have lots of documentation and attachments.

What I *love* about Momento is the integration with social apps, which
gives me a more robust view into my personal experiences.

I really would love a desktop or web interface to sync with. If I want
to add a long note, it's cumbersome to do that on my phone.

I hope that if they do implement a desktop app, that it won't be JUST for the Mac. I've seen way too many other applications for the iPhone/iPod only make a Mac desktop, and that sucks. So, makers of Momento, PLEASE don't forget about us Windows users that don't have the pleasure of owning a Mac yet! I'm hoping it'll be a web-based application anyway, but I guess we'll see.

I love the app as well, but if they get it with a desktop sync version as well I promise I will start to sell that app part time.
Imagine having all your photos and dates that could be exported via pdf to blub.com and you would end up of having a printed year book diary, with all the photos, tags, etc.

Let me just add my name to this list. A Momento desktop app would be truly amazing and solve a lot of issues: It'd be much more comfortable to type longer entries via a keyboard, add photos that I didn't take with the iPhone camera from my computer, have a local backup, browse my journal on a big screen, export entries...

More voices speak louder! I am not a scrapbooker, not good at remembering to take photos and am just plain busy and this little app is the bomb! I love capturing those little moments during my days that I don't want to forget. Please please make it so that we can save all these memories in a format that we can look at years from now and enjoy!! I am a Windows user.

just bought the app.. Though I love it.. I am utterly gutted that there is no desktop sync feature. rather frustrating! Please bring this feature out.. would be really handy.

More ambitiously, if it could layer over the iphone calendar, it could link private diary moments to events. Very useful looking months back.
