Email backup on the go

It would be excellent if I could backup on the go and email the backup off the phone. I.E., I would love to be able to email my backup to my Gmail account where it sits on some reasonably maintained and backed up server.

Yeah. That's a nice idea.
Simply send a plain txt mail with pics attached every day, and you have a very nice backup :)
