How to change the date and time of a Moment
Changing the Date & Time
- Tap the date in the navigation bar at the top of the screen when editing or creating a moment
- Change the date and time from the picker
- Tap 'Done' to complete the change and return to writing your moment
Tapping the 'Now' button will update the date picker with the current date and time.
If you would like to a create a new moment in a different year, you will need to do so via the Calendar view. More details can be found below.
Hiding the Timestamp
If you would prefer not to attach a time to the moment, tap 'Hide Timestamp'. A time is still attached to a moment when the timestamp is hidden, it's just not displayed.
Adding a moment via the Calendar
You can also create a moment using the Calendar view, both in portrait and landscape modes. This provides you with a quick way to navigate to a date in the past — especially useful for adding a moment to a previous year.
Simply navigate to and tap a date using the calendar. If a moment doesn't already exist for that day, you will be presented with a prompt asking you if you would like to create a new moment. Alternatively, if a moment does exist you will be taken to that day where you can tap the 'New Moment' button in the top right.
